Operations Strategy Manager

About the Opportunity

This role plays a critical role in supporting restaurant operations by developing, implementing, and analyzing initiatives that improve deployment, scheduling, throughput, efficiency, and performance. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure operational tools and training are effective and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of labor management tools.
  • Gather feedback from restaurants to identify opportunities to improve labor management tools.
  • Maintain expertise in all labor management tools and their functionalities to provide guidance and answer questions from restaurant operators.
  • Schedule support staff for new restaurant openings during the first twelve weeks of operation.
  • Manage the execution of crew and manager par levels (inventory targets), ensuring regular review and updates across all business units.
  • Track progress of operational initiatives, monitor data and performance against benchmarks, ensure accountability from key leaders, and maintain momentum to achieve goals.
  • Maintain regular communication with restaurant operations teams to stay current on needs, trends, and challenges.
  • Generate reports on key data points at the department and organizational level.
  • Analyze company, market, and restaurant-level trends to identify opportunities for improvement and inform business decisions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing reporting systems to ensure timely delivery of crew-related data to operation leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business-related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to analyze data to identify issues, opportunities, and patterns, and recommend solutions.
  • Comfortable working in both an office and restaurant environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work from the Plano, TX office.
