Centralized Restaurant Support Senior Manager

About the Opportunity

This role plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and optimizing the support process for restaurants across the company. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient deployment and allocation of resources to maximize positive impact on restaurant performance. You will analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategic action plans to address challenges, and collaborate with various teams to ensure restaurants achieve sustained success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate with multi-unit restaurant leaders to identify and prioritize restaurants in need of support.
  • Allocate resources efficiently based on identified needs and minimize travel costs.
  • Partner with business units to build a strong bench of support personnel and promote self-sufficiency within restaurants.
  • Conduct cost analysis and partner with multi-unit leaders to evaluate and approve support requests based on potential return on investment (ROI).
  • Develop and implement actionable plans with multi-unit leaders to address root causes of restaurant challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Recruiting) to address specific needs within restaurants, such as hosting hiring events in understaffed locations.
  • Facilitate pre- and post-support calls with support teams, restaurant managers, and multi-unit leaders.
  • Conduct on-site visits at focus restaurants during and after support engagements to assess impact.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on support activities, including resource allocation, spending, and pre/post-support results.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of crew and manager deployments through the HRIS system to manage pay premiums.
  • Track per diem and expenses for certified traveling trainers.
  • Manage all communication related to centralized restaurant support.
  • Supervise the Centralized Restaurant Support Manager and address their day-to-day needs.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of management experience, with multi-unit experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, evolving priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and highly energetic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Data-driven decision making with the ability to identify key insights and influence decisions.
  • Adaptability and the ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours as needed.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time).
