Area Training Manager

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Area Training Manager to join our growing organization. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting and elevating restaurant training efforts within a designated market. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our training programs, identifying and addressing training needs, and partnering with the Area Business Unit Manager to drive overall restaurant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant Training:
    • Oversee the implementation and execution of training programs across assigned restaurants, ensuring adherence to the highest training standards.
    • Conduct regular restaurant visits to assess training effectiveness, identify operational support needs, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Lead and validate the execution of advanced crew and management training programs.
    • Facilitate training classes for various programs, including ServSafe and Train the Trainer initiatives.
    • Champion the internal development of all restaurant crew and management teams.
    • Support training and development efforts during new restaurant openings.
  • Partnership with Area Business Unit Manager:
    • Collaborate with the Area Business Unit Manager to identify restaurant training needs and recommend strategic solutions to optimize performance.
    • Provide ongoing analysis and updates on training performance metrics.
    • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams within the Area Business Unit.
    • Work collaboratively with restaurant recruitment to identify and develop internal talent for future growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality leadership, with a strong focus on training and development (multi-unit experience preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Training & Development) a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and empower team members at all levels.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to translate plans into concrete actions.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to upholding high standards of conduct.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area (up to 100%).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
